Finally got a chance to dyno the car and see how horrible I've been at tuning it. I'm running rich as hell but I made decent power. Overall I'm very happy. Everyone needs to get there asses to SMS before the special is over. Awesome people.

damn you beat me to it! yeah i went right after single cam. i dont have a scanner for my sheet but i was running rediculously rich (<10.0a/f) after about 4800rpms and my torque took a nose dive. 186hp/180ftlbs on a sr with stock turbo .68 bar and typical bolt ons.

sms has a great setup and the people there are really cool considering we were a couple of import guys in a domestic shop. $55 was more than worth knowing where my car is hp wise and where it needs tuning. definately stop by and take advantage of this.

if I'm not mistaken... he's accomplishing that out of a D15 engine. (don't quote me on that though)

anyways, why is the top section of the graph so choppy. Isn't that what cars with VTEC look like on a dyno graph. D15s don't have VTEC though.

 

jdm d15B engines do have vtec,
usdm d15b7 engines do not
