Default wax

how long should I wait to put a good coat of wax on my car after it is painted? I get my car back from the paint shop tommorrow and was just wondering.

at the least 4months... even longer depending on how many coats of clear coat they placed on your car...

I've always heard at least 3... the paint has to fully cure and air out. At teh factory they bake it so you don't have to worry, but a/m jobs can't bake it like facotry (not high enough heat). Washing it won't hurt at all.

I waited 2 monthes after I got my car repainted and it didnt cause any problems, but its better to be safe then sorry.

90 days for a full cure (base coat clear coat)
about 45 days for single stage
