A friend of mine stationed in okinawa couldn't bring back his skyline... but I've heard Aaron (FastX7) say you can (and he's been stationed there too). I'm really not sure... and I'm not in the military so it don't matter.

People have been trying to get around loopholes for awhile to bring over cars from Japan, with no success. If you want a JDM car that is legal for you to drive, it has to be brought in through legal avenues, and for the Skyline, this means MotorEx, since they've already spent the money to crash test as well as retrofit it for US standards.

All the other JDM cars you might see here and there in the country are usually declared as race-only, or some other designation stating that they aren't to be used on public roads. IIRC, if one of those cars is caught on public streets, it can be impounded/crushed.

i was waching hi rev tuners the other day and thay had the new skyline there r34 vspec and the girl said it cost them 85,000 dollers to have it shiped here and have it set up for us staderds
