Wait to Paint or Primer Car Now Question
Hello,
I am trying to figure out if I should primer my car satin/flat black/some other assortment of rattle can primer right now to get my car one color until I can afford to get it painted. Or should I just keep it the 3 factor colors it is right now until I can get it painted. Two of my friends have said primer it - I am not sure how I feel about it. Just trying to get some other peoples opinions on the matter.
Here is what it looks like now, hahaha:

Don't bother to paint it if you have plans to get it professionally painted later. You'll probably cause more harm than good if you don't know what you're doing.
If you haven't been bothered by it being different colors enough to get it painted already I'm sure you can live with it a little longer

Re: Wait to Paint or Primer Car Now Question
Fixing the intercooler is a completely different story . I need a new cold pipe...and to do that I need a new battery, or I have to cut through my frame....not gonna happen. I don't have the money for it right this second, haha.
Thanks for the advice so far guys...I didn't know that info about primer not being water proof.
The corner light should be here tomorrow.

Fix your intercooler, and DON'T rattle can it. getting an even coat of rattle can primer is pretty difficult. Even more so, rattle can primer doesn't grab the surface as well (different base) and will make a proffessional job look so much worse and so much more difficult.
