Re: VW GTI???
OK... let's see now... not flaming on anyone here, just stating the facts...
1) I never said the car had a "euro package" ... I said it had stock "euro style" front and rear textured lips and sideskirts, which is how it was described on a Germany based parts site I was at looking for upgrades... NEVER claimed it was anything other than bone stock, unless you want to count the K&N replacement (not conical) filter
2)Zero-There is no damage to the right rear... there is paint chipping on the bumper but it is just from crappy plastic paint, that's all
3)grey-The rebuild was performed as a selling point for a better selling price done by the 1st owner... I tracked him down and asked about it cause it worried me as well... he was just kinda obsessive about maintenance and did the rebuild so he could sleep better at night... no warning signs that required it, guess he just had the money sittin around...
car is not ugh, it's clean except for the paint chipping on the bumper... not sure where you saw rust, but it wasn't on my car... sounded like a VW with a small hole in the exhaust (which is now fixed) and No, there is no erosion from salt or anything else... Please have more knowledge about cars than you get from reading forums and trying to play along with everyone else... if I'm not mistaken, this is going to be your 1st car purchase, right? Your stepdad doesn't like the car? FINE, not a problem, but don't come on here and bash it by twisting what I said... I'm honest about cars and there are people on here that can vouch for that... not many know me, but the few who do know I don't try to scam anybody... anyway, I hope you do find a car that you (and your Stepdad) like and can agree on... good luck, honestly
damn I need a cigarette

you should get a cheaper 2.0 MK3 and put a 16v head on it. or you can go baller and get an ABF swap from across the pond
