Vtech is a phone. VTEC is what's in cars. Is your car a D-series?

I don't know. He should spend his money on something else instead of vtec.

The LX comes equipped with a 1.7Liter, 117HP SOHC motor. This sounds like a small amount but since torque is high and the car is lightweight, this proves to be more than adequate for the size of the car. The Si model in canada (Ex in US) gets the same motor but with VTEC technology, boosting horsepower to 127. I find the civic to be an excellent balance of performance and economy.

I guess it would be D17Y7?

it could be, but the the ex motor found in 92-00 civics produce 125hp, and the lx's push out 115hp. but in any case, the op should consider doing some research, seeing as to how he spelled vtec wrong. to the op, check out this site: hmotorsonline.com the guys there can be of some assistance
