Default VMP question

Hey, does anyone know if VMP checks for the clutch safety switch? This is going to be the first time with a manual transmission car and the previous owner disabled it. Thanks.

Unless you are running low 10's then you really wont get "A Inspection"

Alright, thanks. I should just be looking at some high 12's if I can get some traction.

Anytime you run slicks, you are supposed to have a loop.

Yep, I know the rules, just wanted to see if they actually checked as I have only run auto's before.

I made the not wearing pants mistake once a few years ago on a 95 degree day, I had to run to walmart and get some, it wasnt very fun, haha

11.49 or faster needs a loop, or if you run slicks.

Its in the rulebook, it goes along with the neutral safety switch for auto cars, which I have only been checked for once in my 40 or so track visits.

Neutral Safety Switch: ALL vehicles with automatic transmissions
must be equipped with an operational Neutral Safety Switch. The
Neutral Safety Switch prevents the vehicle’s starter from turning the
engine over unless the transmission is in Park or Neutral. On manual
transmission vehicle that is equipped with an OEM clutch switch,
starter can only be active when clutch pedal is depressed.
