the best way to attempt to beat it would be to get the records of the radar. They are supposed to have the radar calibrated everyday (its a lenghty process at that) but how often do you think a cop/state trooper/law enforcement agent really does that?

Yes that is legit, i am actually radar certified and not only can it pick you like that but also will tell you the speed of the vehicle which is traveling the fastest in the other lane. The cop then just looks over and sees what vehicle is moving the fastest.
