ok if the guy is scrambling to put 10k together....why the hell would anyone recommend a car that is expensive to maintain.

I haven't found owning and maintaining BMW's any more expensive than any other car.
The only real difference I've seen is that they won't put up with neglectful owners like a Toyota would.
The car that I owned that cost me the most money to own was a goddamned 96 Honda Accord, everything you could think of went on that pos.

you wont be happy with that 325, slow as balls...

get the s/c e36 M. parts are pretty common for them now, so prices arent what people expect. I only sink tons of money into my e36 because I want to, not because its not reliable.

You are being really unrealistic with the mileage. You could get any of those cars for that price if you look, but not with anywhere near 50k miles

Finance a ls1 GTO and have a comfortable, fast, and reliable car that's pretty good on gas.

Seriously this is probably your best option all things considered.

Hmmm, well I just got owned by my brothers lol. Looks like I'm gonna be smart here and not blow all my money on a car. I'll probably be picking up some car for under 10 g's and save the rest to stay out of college debt. Although it's not my final decision, probably would be my best one .

But hell... I still hunt down my 350z or ls1 car.
