Question Va.Inspection Question?

Will shaved exterior door handles (totally removed and covered) Pass/Fail an Va.inspection? Thanks

As long as there is some kind of mechanism to open the driver door it will pass. It doesnt
have to be In stock location.

You are only allowed 1 rejection be state requirements, if he fails there is no "take it to another shop"....he would pay for a whole new inspection and that inspector could find something else to fail him for.

Any inspector worth a damn will fail it no questions asked. An inspector is not going to risk his license for some kid with a stupid mod, and it's not up to the inspectors discretion, if it fails it fails

The door can be opened by a key fob.....but there is no direct mechanism that will be able to open either door from the outside....interior still operates the same....still not sure if this is passable?!?

Maybe you should have checked that before the fact of shaving the handles?
