Yeah i was wondering if any of you have gotten in trouble for underage possession and how old you were and what you got for it? I got it last night and im 2 months from turning 21 and want to know what im going to have to pay and how long im going to lose my license for?

 

6 months for the license if its your first offense and you have a decent lawyer...everything else depends really on your judge and lawyer.

 

its a pretty hefty fine now from what i understand

 

awesome every time i get a little bit of money saved up i seem to screw myself over again!

 

You'll get a suspended/restricted license for awhile, have to take VASAP classes and get fined, most likely.

Those are fun... I walked into mine and knew like three people.

We had an awesome kegger for graduation the night we finished class. Cops came and we told them why we were partying, they laughed.

 

They were $400 back in 01.

 

wonder if there is anyway to get out of the license revoction...has anyone here talked their way out of it? I wonder if i can plead to a lesser offense. I cant stand not have my license!

 

It will just be a restricted license so you'll still be able to drive to and from work as well as school if your going. 6 months is what they seem to be giving out to everyone these days for underage possession.

Your asap classes will depend on what they think they you need to take for them. They sit you down with a "counselor" that asks you a bunch of questions about how much you drink, how often, do you drink and drive etc etc. Someone I know had to do asap meetings once a week for ten weeks straight but on the other hand my girlfriend only had to go to one saturday class for 8 hours. Depending on your answers to their questions you may also have to go to a MADD (mothers against drunk driving) meeting as well as AA meetings. The few for ASAP is 150.
