I'm located in Newport News and looking for a salvage yard or U Wrench It type place to get some small items for a civic such as interior door pieces, etc. Is there anywhere around here to do that without going all the way to virginia beach?

There is about three or four off of I58. Just go through the Downtown (Norfolk) tunnel and follow the signs.

it takes 20 minutes to get there from the Peninsula, you would spend that much time sitting in traffic on Jefferson Ave.!
