Well as some of you may know I went through a shitload of drama with my Z06 wheels. Well that's all in the past now. My dad has decided to take them off my hands. He's giving me about $300 less than what I have in them, but he's my dad, he's trying to help me out, and they aren't even polished anymore.

So I've decided to splurge and go with 18x9.5/10.5 black Z06's with a polished lip. Most RWD cars have staggered set-ups (mine is only gonna be staggered in regards to the width not height too like it was) but after seeing 18's on the back of my TA I think 18's all the way around will look sick.

Here's a pic for those who don't know what they look like. As soon as I sell my stock wheels to a member from another board these will be dropping.

For those that don't know. Here's my hot shit that they are going on.

Thanks bro. I was thinking about going with polished again.

For those that don't know I bought polished wheels. They weren't clearcoated. I took them to Bay Mechanical to have a clearcoat powdercoated on them (for protecton obviously). Anyways it dulled the finish then the clear started to crack, so they said they were gonna recoat them in a chrome color and now they just look silver.

Here's a pic of before:

Here's one after:

I'd really like to get polished again, but I think I'm just gonna go with black for a different look. I haven't seen a black TA with black Z06's around here...yet.

OMG WHITE BALANCE.

So your pops is gonna buy your z06's and your going to buy another set of z06's black w/polished lip? I think they would look bad ass personally.

Yeah that pic of the polished ones does suck. Haha.

Yeah. Basically I have $800 in the wheels. He's giving my $500 for them. He told me he doesn't even really want them he's just trying to help me out. He's putting them on a C4 Vert that he's driven probably a total or 50 miles in the last 6 months and probably 40 of those miles were in 1 day, so yeah he doesn't even need them.

I'm also trying to sell my stockers, so that's a good chunk of money towards wheels and two front tires.

Black Wheel Mafia.

I first clicked the thread because I thought it read "The time has come. BMW here i come." I thought to myself "Holy hell! Joe's getting a bimmer."

Shit I wish, but I love my TA. Even though I did see this really nice fucking 01 330Ci Sport for sale at the auction my dad tows out of before I got my car. Silver with stock 18's and I swear it had a 6 speed gearbox in it, but I've yet to see that in any other BMW other than the M-series.

Any way you can put a Pontiac symbol in there for the centercaps?

Nah they don't make any Pontiac wheels with those centercaps. The only wheel that uses a centercap like that is an SS 10 spoke. I don't mind rockin' Vette centercaps seeing as how they are Vette wheels and all.
