Pictures do not do them justice. See one in person, and it will change your opinion dramatically, I think they are gorgeous.

Especially in the dark gray. I saw a picture of one on NASIOC (I just browse there since I love Imprezas ) and saw one in person, god it looked sooo clean.

I hate the front end, hate the tails. My friend has an 06 (CGM), and I have an 05 (PSM), and we've compared them side to side and I prefer my body style over his (and that's not the personal bias speaking, mind you :P)

Actually, when I say "front end", I mean more "styling in relation to the grill". I've seen some photochops of the front bumper that got rid of the Alfa Romeo styling, and it was a drastic improvement.

And the taillights are garbage. Swap them for 05's and call it a day.

Other than that... it's a WRX, which I <3

I thought they were gross when I saw them in pictures online.

Then I saw one in real life and my position remained the same.

I think they look good. Here are some pics to help this thread out.

I would get an 06. At first, i didn't like the styling but it has grown on me over time. I would first swap the tails definately though. Ive test driven an 06 the week that the local dealer got them and I love them.

It looks like an Alpha Romeo with an uglier body.

Yeah, I'd rail the model also.

Not surprisingly, the person who designed the front end for the 06 used to be a designer for Alfa Romeo.

I'd still rock one from a mechanical standpoint.
