My question is regarding seat height once they're mounted. My car is going to have a full cage and I'm going to have to wear a helmet. If these would sit any higher than a stock seat, they probably won't do the trick. I like the seats and I've found a good deal on them, I just don't want to risk them sitting too high in the car. I have Del Sol seats in it right now. My other option (and a cheaper option at that) is a set of black S2000 seats which I know sit lower than stock once mounted.

Oh yeah, EG hatchback.

Personally...if you're gonna have a full cage and shit, you might as well buy some seats that will hold you properly. Check out some Momo starts...you can get a set of them new for like 400-500 dollars...and you don't really need two, so a brand new comfortable bucket would only run you a little over 200 bucks.

They'll sit slightly lower than stock, but not enough for you to notice any real difference.

S2000 seats sit lower on the S2000 pans but they won't really bolt in unless you use Civic/del Sol pans. And with those they won't really be much lower at all.

The diference in height will be so minute that it'll really come down to personal preference.

The SRDs will hold you in better than S2000 seats, though. Something to keep in mind.

If your getting a full cage and always wearing harnesses you should be looking at fixed back seats that wont fail in a roll over.

IIRC it's going to be for a 'drag' car and the cage is only there so he can make 9 second passes.

Thats IIRC though.

Yes, because roll overs never happen in drag races. And the cage should be there to 'save his life', not 'only there so he can make 9 second passes'.

Flite, don't skimp on the safety equipment please. I don't want anything to happen to you. <3
