Also, late '02 would be better than early '02 because the oil banjo bolts were updated. There was a recall for them in Europe but not in North America because we don't drive hard here. 
Anyway, I can't remember what the VIN cutoff was for the old bolts but I'll see if I can dig it up in a bit.

If you can find a good condtion 01 z06 at $18k...let me know. I will have it within the week and resell it for twice that in the same day.
Gluck with your search on the s2k, im in the market for something new myself...and the s2k is definatly an option.
