tension rods?

Default tension rods?

i understand this question is gonna sound dumb but i cant figure it out myself. anyways im looking at upgradin my front suspention for my 92 240sx. i ran across an item called a tension rod. i cant seen to find out, one if my car uses them, two where they go if it does and three exactly what they do. dont be to harsh on ur critsism of my knowledge remember yall didnt always know everything

  1. Yes, your car uses them.
  2. See attachment for S13 front suspension from the FSM. The label is near the bottom center of the image.

  3. Main use is for adjusting wheel caster, in general aftermarket ones have a firmer feel since they use pillowball rod ends.
