can i swap just the cams in a h23 head with those out of a h22?

 

Is this for a mod for performance or this the only cam you have to go in the head? Is the h23 you have the vtec version or the non vtec version of the h23? Obviously you know that the h22 has an extra lob for vtec on the camshaft and the non vtec version of the H23 does not. If you have the non vtec version of the H23 and you are trying to put in H22 vtec cams thinking that the outer lobs are bigger on the vtec cam shafts ( the ones that your non vtec h23 would use)to make more power then I dont know if they are bigger or not. But if you have the vtec version of the H23 then the cams go right in and use all the lobs on the cam.
