Default Supra Guys

I have a question. I seem to have found a good deal on a unmolested 97 twin turbo Supra except for the fact the car has 120k on it and its a 97. My question is.... is this mileage ok for a supra or is that car gonna take a dump soon? Curious to know..... other then the milage the car is gorgeous and flawless. Just wanted to know if 120k on a Supra is alot or will it run for alot longer......

nope, i know of some people with 190,000 plus miles on there Supra

Get a compression check on it, see what kind of history the car has (wrecked or not....heavy mods done in the past, etc)

The only problems that you might have are clutch.....and tires pretty much

For the most part if the car has had a good pervious owner and has been taken care of it wont take a dump on you. Its a yota the only problems you will have are the clutch and tires but thats probably going to be your own fault

I have to concur... high miles dosen't always equal a bad motor. And if the body is in tact and great condition, you can always get a new motor (or build one for high HP/TQ).

i'm not trying to sound negative here..but i'd be cautious of a 97 TT for 12k. I was looking into Supras before i got my WRX and the cheapest thing i could find was a NA/auto for 17k. Unless the person selling is a complete moron and has no idea what they have, there has to be something w/ the history of the vehicle. Than again, if everything is clean your one lucky bastard. good find Thomas.
