supra 2gz 2jz whats the diff
hey i just recked my car(pics are in eye candy) and im thinking about getting a 95 non turbo supra but im not to big on toyota yet so whats the diff in engine if any between the base and twin turbo? someone said theres two types 2gz which has a high compresion and the 2jz which is the twin turbo motor? i dont know help me out

All I can remember off hand is that they use a different ignition setup as well as the transmission, but I'm sure there is more than that.

both the turbo and none turbo supras are 2jz engines, but with different set ups. ive havent heard of 2gz. the turbo engine code is 2JZ GTE, non turbo is 2JZ GE
