Re: STP Fuel System Cleaner
never cleared out my car... its 20 years old so im sure theres prob some old stuff and shit in there. its been really touchy with the throttle like its not getting proper fuel so i just wanted to try it. but i dont know what it is. the rpms dont drop or anything but sometimes in lower gears driving with barely any throttle it almost bogs but i dont wanna call it bogging down bc thats not what it seems like its doing

Re: STP Fuel System Cleaner
There are lots of other sensors, the TPS is not the only sensor on the engine. There is also a MAP sensor, intake air temp sensor, coolant temp sensor, cam sensor, crank angle sensor, and at least one oxygen sensor. The likely culprits (assuming the TPS is working correctly and calibrated properly) are the MAP and oxygen sensors.

I usually use the Lucas Injector cleaner. I buy a giant bottle at Walmart and fill up the smaller one I've already used. I use it once an oil change (car has high miles why not eh)
