We have a good amount here. Several S13-14 owners with sr20det's and even a truck with a det. We had a little nissan meet about 2 weeks ago in Hampton. Some of the pics are still in the event section. Do you have a date set for that meet. I may be going to England in March.

I said except for you steve . JK. We have tentativly set the date as May 17th (and teh 18th if we do a two day event. The second day would be a dyno day, and I know how much you like those ). Its looking like we wont be able to go to the drag strip on sat evening b/c there are no drag strips open on sat nights (at least that Iv been able to find). We are currently in teh search for alternatives. Two ideas so far have been go kart racing (expensive, about 60 or 75 bucks per person), or maybe dave and busters.

was a GT3037s 52 trim 100mm inlet. now a T04E 50 trim with a Otrim T4 turbine wheel in a .69 divided inlet housing.

Why the switch? Im not familer with the T4 turbine, but the GT3037 should be better then the TO4E 50 trim compressor.

should be but its not. the GT3037 is limited because of the turbine its given. sure it can flow some air but not the application i'm looking for.

max efficiency on the 52 trim compressor map is 78 percent. same on the 50 trim. the 50 trim doesnt flow as much air as the 52 trim GT series, but where the 52 trim flows that much air is WAY outside of the max island on the map. i believed the hype till i saw a compressor map and turbine map. plus i want a change.

what people dont realize is that the turbine must be able to flow what the compressor is pushing, and a T3 turbine mounted to a T4 compressor just aint gonna do it. sure its good for spool up and streetability, but not for HP potential and ensuring the motor is in crossover. or path of non-reversion where the intake manifold pressure is higher than the exhaust manifold pressure. something that will NEVER happen in a T3/T4 turbo. which is essentially what the GT3037 turbo is. 76mm compressor with a 60mm turbine. the biggest T3 turbine is nearly 30% bigger than the turbine on the GT3037 turbo. blah. i could of kept it woulda made power.(more than the 457rwhp@20psi i've already done) i just wanna be the underdog again. plus i'm tired of telling people i have a turbo that no one has ever heard of. or at least the looks on their faces tell me that.

i'm expecting 450@15-17psi now....might be way off but i can hope.
nice book huh?
