Does anyone have any advice as to what kind of system I should get in my car? Like watt amout in the amp and sub size? thanks

 

what type of system are you trying to make for yourself? going for more of an audiophile type setup, or do you just like.. want something loud and bassy?

also, the biggest factor in all this: budget?

 

Well, I don't wanna spend like 100$ for two speakers, I have two front Sony Xplods 6 x 9. and a Pioneer deck. I need two more speakers and sub(s) and an amp. I want something loud and bassy, but not the annoying one where you can't understand it and makes other people's cars shake.

 

First thing you need to do is trash the Xplods.

Pioneer deck is okay. I prefer Alpine.

Go JL Audio for the subs.

And there are a couple different companies you can go with for amps.

yea sparky. trash the xplods or sell em. go JL audio or audiobahn. i love my 2 12'' audiobahns. perfect for what youre lookin for. loud and bassy but not annoying and ghetto. i have always liked pioneer speakers.

 

Why dont you wait until they have that sale of the century deal, or wait until discount autosound have that big sale. I got alot of equipment from there. Just save your money so you can get something nice.

Thats why he should save up is money and hit that big sale so he can get some jls and an alpine deck for cheap.

 

i spend atleast 1k every time d.a.s. has there sales. they have around 3 to 4 a year so there sound be one in a couple of months. sucks that everytime i buy something from there it is a special order.if you are getting something that everyone has theb you sould be able to get it the same day.i recommend the d.a.s. on va beach blv.

 

So, when they have their sales, how much would it be for four new speakers, two 10's or 12's and an amp to push it all do you think? and nothing special order.
