I'm sorry, but I'm having a hard time buying that. You mean to tell me a lighter car that has 90 more horsepower runs the same time as me because of a slightly different gear? I could put 4:30 gears in my car and barely pick up 2/10ths of a second.

Yes... and inversely you could put 3.08s in your car and slow it way down. That would slow it down a greater amount than 4.30s would speed it up.
