Sold the Z...Viper has arrived
I really don't care about the kid at all. I think most people are talking shit because the kid comes across as cocky when daddy bought it for him. I know plenty of younger guys with nice cars that parents have bought/helped them with and don't catch shit because they don't act like they are the shit because of the car.
It may be 17 years old but they are still around $45,000.00 even at 17 years. I mean yea I'm trying to get my hands on a Volvo S80 T6 right now and those run the same price range brand new but I'm also getting a good deal on the one I'm looking at (below $7k, thats all I can say). Mind you the car I'm looking at is a 2000. But a Viper is a car that most of us will never own but in our dreams. I feel lucky I got to take a ride in one, maybe I'm just strange.

45k? I don't think so. If you spend that much on it you need to learn some better ways to buy high end cars...

The most expensive 1992-1995 Dodge Viper is 39k, most are 30-35k. Thats not that expensive. Brand new S2000's cost that, brand new STi's and Evo's cost that, brand new Cobra's cost that.

Your listing cars that are considered to be lower performing than a Viper from the factory. Ok, maybe $45k was off, I just did a quick ebay when I listed that figure because I was in class. However, its kinda hard to compare something thats 17 years old to a brand new car too. When they were new a RT/10 ran like $85k IIRC.
You're right, because I said 17 years old, and he has a Gen I viper, which is 1992-1995. Gen II is 1996+, Gen III is SRT10. It's a Dodge, they dont hold their value for shit.
S'all good, its still a nice ride. I wouldn't turn one down, then again I've been in love with em since I was little. Its a frightening thing to ride in though, 120mph and capable of breaking the tires loose. I never knew it was possible to have an orgasm and pee your pants at the same time till that day.
