Point is, you shouldn't judge someone if you don't know them, fyi, I worked my ASS off for 3 years straight ever since the age of 15, and managed to save up a $14,000 downpayment for my Z. I didn't go out, buy clothes, NOTHING, I was DEAD SET ON getting the Z, and after 3 years of basically TORTURE, I finally bought her, DAD DID NOT COSIGN, dad did not CONTRIBUTE A DIME towards my Z. Afterwards, I paid for the monthly payments on it, I paid for the insurance on it and I paid for the gas on it. Like I said previously, after 2 years of owning the Z, I wanted to upgrade to something different, my choices were lotus elise, viper, corvette or supra. Chose the Viper because it's just an amazing bang for the buck kinda car. Now how I got the Viper, I sold the Z for a good amount of money, yes I lost a lot, but hey, cars depreciate, not the other way around. anyhow, I used the money I got from the Z, and my dad put down some money on top of that, and we bought the Viper, that's all.

I PAY the insurance on it, I PAY the gas on it, I pay my tuition, basically the only help my parents had was the downpayment money, and the fact that they still let me live at home. Which once again, is a HUMONGOUS help and I know that and I fully appreciate that.
just wanted to get that out ..phew
to everyone appreciating the car, thanks !!

I was naturally upset when I read that you were 20 and had this car. I am also a 20 yo college student... but I drive a 95 integra.

Very relieved to read ^ though. I go to school with many thousands of spoiled ass kids so I have grown to resent this breed of do-nothings and have-it-all's.. Freshman with new Z06's, Tahoe's, Hummer's etc. etc. so it's good to hear that some kids still understand the value of the dollar and hard work.

Awesome car BTW

Matt: You just lost all credibility when you posted the worst HRE wheels I've ever seen.

Find a wheel that looks better on the RT/10.

Please.

I'd rather see steelies on the RT/10 than those HRE's. I've actually seen them look alright on a few cars, and I believe one of them was a 5 or 7 series BMW.. but generally they look awful, especially on a Viper!

They look too much like Integra wheels

thanks man !!

I just get mad when people stereotype you without even knowing who you are, but you can't blame 'em, hell if I saw a kid roll up in a Viper, first thing I'd think is that it's his dad's. But once again, if not for my parents letting me live at home with them, I would NEVER be able to afford this car nor anything above 10K probably. Oh if I didn't mention, I bought my altima (my daily) with a loan which I'm still paying off by myself, no cosigner on that one either, and my insurance on the altima is $175 a month...LIABILITY, why ? because it's under my own policy on Progressive, while the Viper is under my dad's on Liberty Mutual FULL COVERAGE for an astonishing $79 a month, with me listed as a driver.

They are a directional wheel like a GSR wheel. They don't look the same any more than a BBS LM looks like an Integra mesh. The GSR swirly comparison is lame.

Also, those wheels look like SHIT on any full bodied conventional style car like a BMW 5 or 7 series.

They belong on 911 turbos primarily. They look good on Vipers. They look good on 'Vettes. The more I look at them, the more I like them on S2000s. There are a few cars I could name that they would look good on. But a family sedan is NOT one of them.
