Sold the Z...Viper has arrived
I PAY the insurance on it, I PAY the gas on it, I pay my tuition, basically the only help my parents had was the downpayment money, and the fact that they still let me live at home. Which once again, is a HUMONGOUS help and I know that and I fully appreciate that.
just wanted to get that out ..phew
to everyone appreciating the car, thanks

Yes, it is, imo anyways. Point being is if you can't afford $500 for your insurance you don't need a car payment on a 40k car. This is why so many people live beyond their means and live pay check to pay check and expect the government to take care of them later in life.
+1
Well it would be alot more affordable if you didn't have to pay such high insurance! I could go out and get a $30k car if I had a clean record, but in MY case, my insurance rates are bad enough to where it would be pointless to pay that much (payments/insurance) to drive a certain car. I would rather save more money than spend so much on a car. That's all.

^ Exactly... I don't fuck around on the street because my good record (one speeding ticket) allows me to have a fast car. If I drove like a tard the insurance premium would cost more than the car.
Cool, have fun with it.
I'm not going to comment on the crap about you being a spoiled kid, or why early Vipers suck. I think they're cool fucking cars and will be classics 40 years from now. And if your parents want to help you buy a Viper, good for you.
The ONLY thing that I will have to comment on is.... Take those wheels off the car. Clean them up really nice. Restore them to new condition if you can. Then put them in a box. After you get them nicely boxed up, put in a call to CCW and tell them you need an aggressive set of classics immediately.

I mean hell, if you were to buy a used viper for 35k with your loan from someone like Navy Fed who would actually give the loan the payment would be $667 a month for five years.
but saying its a good bang for the buck is kinda stupid. actually its one of the worst bang for the buck cars i can think of off the top of my head
but you and me know alike, peformance is only half of this car's appeal.
Damn good mother fucking advice!

Enjot the car, don't get hurt, and for fucks sake, make new rims your #1 priority
