Default So i had some work done

So i brought my 94 Dodge Ram in for a complete overhaul in August.. well

they did that. block was dipped / bathed honed and all. new pistons, rods,

bearings and the crank was balanced and all. Well i drive the truck off the

lot the oil pressure blipped and i immediately brought the truck back. and

they said it was the oil filter. so they put a new one on and things were

fixed. So its now november and i go to tow my brothers car from his school

up here.. and im driving and no blips on the pressure gauge or the idiot light

and i hear a LOUD boom. well i put rods #2, #4, #7 thru the block. well i tow

it back up to the garage, and they say they had nothing to do with it and will

not warranty anything. even tho im in there 4 month / 4k mile work warranty..

What do u think should happen?

you should take and get ur vehicle fixed by another shop make them write in writing what was exactly wrong with ur truck then take them to small claims court it cost like $30 and sue them for how much it cost you to get your truck fixed and a refund of how much you paid them to fix your truck in the first place

Warranty ALWAYS says no first. You have to keep fighting them. Keep taking it up and up the chain until you get taken care of. Do not accept no for an answer. Be patient, be calm and collected. State your argument carefully. When they decline it, repeat process. Calmly state your argument. When they decline again, ask for the next step up the ladder. Repeat until they do what they need to do.

Update on what is happenning..

they are saying that a foreign body has gotten inside the block and must have gotten in between the bearings and made them walk.. and this they are not responsible for..
