sirius has broadcasts from the home team radio announcers and away team announcers for every nfl game. i have had sirius for 2 years and i love it

I've had XM for about a year now and have found myself wanting more channels than they offer. I'll try Sirius in my next car. I'd rather have either one than FM radio though.

well if you love rap howard strern and listen to football instead of watch it, sirius, but if you want to actually have a signal in Va, xm. they use twice the power from their sat than sirius (15 kilowatts, sirius uses 8) and they have twice as many repeaters as sirius on the ground. Sirius will fade in and out all the time, and the antenna HAS TO BE mounted on the outside of the car, where as xm does not. Xm has a much larger bandwith signal, so you can use a xm antenna on sirius, but not the other way around.
When I install xm, it's up right away, with sirius, I have to drive down the street to pick them up. They are one sat down right now as well running two at 50% and one at 100% waiting to let the damaged one go off to the sun, and send up a new back up. 2 sat are used all the time, with one as a back up.
