the car: 1992 honda accord EX (f22a I-4) w/ 5-speed
has anyone done a short shifter kit for one of these cars? or the engine/tranny combo? im looking to get one and want some advice.

probably, if you buy a kit it should include directions.
shifters are usually easy as shit to install, ive put a hurst in my camaro and for the most part imports are easier to get to

honestly, the whole market behind the "short" aspect of a new shifter are retards.
today, idiots (ricers) will praise cheaply made, sloppy shifters as long as they are "short"
in reality, you should look for a shifter that
-yes, will shorten shifts up
-most importantly, give you a better feel for the gears
-be more mechanically stable, and have a better feel
cliff notes: dont judge a shifter solely based on the throw length, feel has much much more value on a good shifter
