I'm not sure if this is true, but do some insurance companies check reports if you were wearing your seat belts? I hear some insurance companies will not compensate if the client was not wearing their seat belt. This is true for the military, but thought I heard that some private insurance companies do this as well.

it's a state law to wear them anyway. the driver/owner of a vehicle could get a ticket if his/her passenger (at least in the front seat) isn't wearin one. good to know you're ok!

his was a shittly looking like mid 80s dodge reliant. K car.

it was covered in damge to the front from previous accidents.

the damage to my car wasnt even that bad. my bumper isnt too bad, just some heavy scratches abd ny taillights are cracked. but they said he was goin at least 45 because of his skid marks and the fact that it ripped my seatbelts out and that somehting weighing over 100 lbs in the back seat flew to the front seat.

the insurance people called today and said that this guy gave the police a wrong number. but they scanned his ID when it happened so the cops gotta go to his house. trying to evadde some insurance problems it looks like.
