Default Saturn Sky

Saw it in a commercial today, the thing looks sick as shit. Anyone seen one in person or anything? its 170HP which is respectable. From what I have seen on the internet, I think I like it.

According to what I have seen and been told they are going to look exactly as you have seen them on the web. They use a 2.4 liter version of the eco-tec, and supposedly they are going to be offering a Redline version with forced induction in the near future. This is supposed to be the start of the Bob Lutz rebuilding of Saturn to make their products more upscale, especially in the interiors. They also will have sheetmetal bodies instead of the poly. panels. Anything else you wanna know?

Seems like its a pretty respectable car. If they are stepping up the interior a bit, it will be a big help. Saturns all around seem to be pretty nice cars, but the interior feels really cheap on the ones I have been in.

That is Lutz's big thing. When they decided to keep Saturn around they decided to make it more upscale to be more competitve with Jappense brands. Supposedly the mid-size replacement called the Aura will have an interior on the same level as the Acura TL

The first one made was the Pontiac Solctice

I had heard they changed it to a saturn and were aiming more towards the young sporty customers and taking saturn in the tuner direction; but now they are coming out with both. Tehy look too similar to me. Both are suppose to be under 20k.
