Ok I've been researching this for at least three hours or so....I'm up in Maine and my Michelins are 60K plus miles and hydroplaning is starting to get scary. Been to Tire Rack...There's a Tire Warehouse shop here that's quoting me 139.95 per tire including installation for Continental Extreme run flats. After reading the test results and reviews...I'm hesitant. I don't know what to do and my sister and my nephew are fed up with me being on vacation and being online and on the phone all day. So, I need advice on a good tire, best price, they have to be run flats, etc. The guy at Tire Warehouse is cool and is willing to order/help in any way. It's an expensive decision obviously @$600 and change. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

That's ok I'm not concerned how they'll do on Autocross...I don't drive that way which is why the Michelins have lasted this long. My spare tire hole has been converted into a 12" subwoofer casing so I have no spare tire to speak of. Just want good quality, wear, and a decent price. Thanks for the input!

yeah that.. why are you hesitant about run flats? it gives you like what.... 50miles after the tire goes flat? that should be good enough to get somewhere to get another.

 

if you think $600 is expensive for a set of 4, try $1200. ;/
