yep it was ok... kinda expensive for the amount of time.
they try to sell you all kinds of pictures and crap while you're there.
i'd rather do a hpde at vir or summit... but if your're really into nascar... its pretty cool.

Yea I've heard they offer to sell more laps after you finish your original laps but I'm sure they're retardedly expensive. This is my second driving school (Skip Barber school being the first) and I'm definitely trying to do another maybe late in the fall. What's an hpde?

My mom and stepdad did one down in FL at the actual Richard Petty course, im guessing near disney world somewhere.

My stepdad drove the car, and because it was my moms bday, that told her to get dressed and took her for a ride for free. I cant imagine it being that fun to ride ... but it was my mom so im sure she had more fun riding.

My stepdad said it was worth every penny.

If youre going to do a driving event like that I strongly suggest Panoz Driving school.

I'll definitely look into Panoz and Bondurant for the next time. Bondurant looks to be somewhat similar to Skip Barber in pricing but with a different emphasis on what they teach. Skip was pretty basic and seat time in the Vipers was a little less than I expected. I just wanna do the NASCAR thing to see what it's like driving a stock car. I'm not planning on racing any time soon

Thanks for all the advice/suggestions. Keep them coming

my step dad just went. i think they paid like 800 per person for 8laps at about 90-100 mph. i think thats lame as shit, i can drive faster than that on a roadcourse in my own car for a very very small fraction of the cost. he liked it but was pissed they had to pussyfoot the car around the track. i have his pics of that day on my other computer, if im on it later ill try to post some.
