Default is reving bad for your engine?

i have 2 questions.

is reving bad for your engine?
pushing your car to accelerate qucikly and having it rev up before it shifts is that bad?

sometimes i push the engine and the tranny doesnt shift ontime so it seems late...

i dont know if this is technical or not...

not really... unless you're one of those idiots that thinks revving a car is bouncing it off the rev limiter. It also uses A LOT more gas. It's your car...

wtf...

dude, what exactly are you asking? are you trying to figure out if it's bad on the engine to floor the accelerator? my answer would be no as long as you mind the factory rev-limiter and you shift on time- i.e., don't be driving down the blvd at 45 in 2nd gear for any extended period of time. the rev limit is there for a reason, anything under that is cool as long as you're not ridiculous.

but judging from the simple fact that you had to ask this question, you are ridiculous. go read some magazines, watch some tunervision and catch up for Christ's sake.

edit- i just noticed your car is an automatic. you are killing me dude.

no, 'revving' your car is not bad for an automatic. just don't leave it in 1st or 2nd. omg.
