Reserved personalized license plate purchase
Recently I reserved a personalized license plate through DMV's website because for whatever reason the system was down for maint. and could not accept actual orders. I went through all the steps and it brought me to a confirmation page that I would need to print out if I decided to go to a DMV in person and complete the transaction. Naturally, like any human being, I want to avoid the actual DMV at all costs so I didn't pay attention to that and navigated away from that page thinking it'd be easy to purchase plates once I've reserved them, wrong. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to complete the transaction.
Has anyone, recently, reserved plates online and gone back and purchased them at a later time? If so, what was the procedure? In retrospect I probably should have at least saved the confirmation page, but I did not. Do I have to wait 90 days for the reservation to expire or am I overlooking something?

there should be a way to select "purchase your plate". you should then have an option to pull a reserved plate based on pertinent info that you would have. if nothing else, give the DMV a call and tell 'em the deal.
ive never really reserved a plate, always just typed in the custom letters, then purchased tho.

You would think that'd be the case, but I can't find an option to purchase a reserved plate. I remember a few years back that if you typed in a combination that wasn't available/or was reserved, it had a link to follow if you were the one who had reserved it, this is no longer the case.

Nah, no e-mail. I don't remember entering my e-mail in the process. The only information I entered of mine was the title number and last 4 of the VIN.
