Default Remote Starters

I havent posted in ... ages ... been too busy with the military. Well Christmas time has come and I'm doing a little online shopping since I won't be home for the holidays. I'm tried bestbuy.com and circuitcity.com but I can't find just what I'm looking for.
I'm looking to get a remote starter that is compatible with a 96 mustang for a gift. I wasn't able to find anything on bestbuys web page and the ones on circuity city were complete car alarms, do they sell them just as remote starters alone? What are some reputible, reliable companies? (preferibly one I can order from online because ... I'm in a third world shithole). It would be a bonus if I could buy installation online as well, but that's not a requirment.

Thanks for your help

technically... its illegal to put a remote start on a manual... youre going to have to find someone who will just DO it for you... illegally. (circuit city and best buy DEFINITELY wont) trust me on this... there are people out there that will. more than likely youre going to have to get a kid that WORKS at an install place to do a little side contract if you know what i mean... lol... i used to have remote start on my teg... but the previous owner did it himself and was a moron so it had to be undone. good luck

Remote starters are usually a feature on high end car alarms. And no business will install it in a manual, you have to get that done on the side.

yea your best bet it to find someone that you know is really good with car audio and electronics to install it. They will have to bypasss the clutch position sensor i want to say it's called. Only thing with it is if anyone else drives your car dont remote start next time you go to use it even if they say its in neutral

I refuse to have one after what I have seen them do. They have a tendency to start up when you don't want them to.
