well depending on how much boost i'd look at forged pistons and rods, new piston rings and bearings obviously. ARP rod bolts would prolong the life of the motor as those are usually the first thing that goes in a turbo build. Also you should look at ARP head studs if you don't have those already. and rehone the cylanders if you're not going to bore them out.

Boosted B16s are fun. If your low on cash, take the crank and get it checked to see if its still good.
Then get some rods/pistons and throw some bearings in there.
Weisco Pistons. Eagle Rods. Bap Geon rod bearings(standard). Honda mains.

Agreed, anyone that says you shouldn't boost a B16 is full of shit. They're great with a turbo setup, and you can have a ton of fun with little effort. Any argument that starts out with "don't boost a B16" usually ends up telling you that the only way to make any real power is to drop in a 702 big block with twin turbos, a 400 shot of NOS, and a dry ice intercooler. It's all bullshit.
If you want a 600HP drag car, B16s probably aren't the best place to start. If you want a fast street car that will put a smile on your face every time you drive it, you've got it made.. It's funny how people like to bash things that are different than what they have..

First thing I would do is get the block magnafluxed and pressures tested to see if there are any cracks or leaks. Then find a good machinist to align hone your main journal housings, balance your reciprocating weight( Pistons, pins, small end of rods, rings, locks oil ring spacers), rotational weight (Big end of rods, rod bearings, oil), and your crank.
Do you have to do all this you ask? No, but you will know your block if fully up to par and will be able to handle high RPM's and power for the future.
As far as parts go I never have worked on a Honda motor so I don't know what parts are known to work best. For design goes I would use a piston that is slightly concaved on the dome to create more turbulence because it helps in the atomization of you air/fuel mixture. Use I beam rods so no oil can collect on the sides of the rods like a H beam.
That's all that comes to mind right now.
