I used to think the same......you CAN buy radar detectors and have them shipped right to your door; EVEN IN VIRGINIA!! I own a valentine 1, I bought it over the phone.

the Valentine 1 is the ONLY radar detector worth owning. Its illegal like all other cool stuff in VA, but its the best
