most sleeves are junk unless mated with a proper dampener. either get a spring/shock combo or a full coilover. the only sleeve combos that work well (tha I know of) are skunk2/kyb agx's and ground controls/koni yellows.

Dampeners are things that make you moist.
Any old spring shouldn't be used with any old strut, that's why you see people seesawing down the road when they hit a little bump. A spring has to be matched to the strut (damper) or else it will usually be underdamped and wear it out quickly. If you know the spring rate, you can match them to a decent set of struts, like the AGXs, yellows, etc. Just don't use a stiff drop coil with a stock strut, even a new one, or you'll be bouncing around in no time..
