It won't work on any dent, generally they have to be fairly large. The location on the car matters a lot as well. Its definitely worth a shot if you've got a big dent though. Also, be very careful when using the hair dryer/ heat gun, you don't want to fuck up your paint.

I wouldn't think that it would, just because of the type of material that urethane is.
