Questions about car buying and registration
Well Im getting stationed at Langley next month and Im thinking of buying a new car. The thing is should I buy it here in Ohio or there in Virginia?
Ohio has a sales tax of 7 percent, no yearly vehicle inspection, and military pay a flat rate of 45 ((last time i checked)) a yr to renew plates. That can also be done online.
So what does VA charge in sales tax, tag renewal, yearly inspections, or any other charges I might not know about. Do they offer a military discount on anything?
Also does anyone own a 2005 Mustang GT, if so how happy are you with it and have you had any problems?
