Ok, this question came up the other day when i started to realize when i leave my neighborhood there is a pot hole that you cannot avoid, nothing epic but still not awesome for the car by any means.

I know you cannot go around tagging and defacing property but what can i do legally as far as marking it to remind myself and warn others of it? i am tempted to use a can of marking paint and outline it.

Yeah, going around it is possible but it would involve crossing the center line as the hole is 4-5 feet wide.Remember it is there is also an option but this hole comes up me before i am completely awake for the day. I feel if i see a marking and or whatever i can do legally, i could slow to a crawl or wait for a spot and go around.

hmm get a cone and put it in there. slow traffic down enough that the city will notice.

I bet if enough people went around with bright orange marking paint outlining all the potholes they would have to take notice eventually

i got a few big cones but them shits is spensive. i put a call into the city but they havent done anything.

or, just do what you were gonna do, but spray paint words on the ground, like before the "left turn only" lanes, something along the lines of "big fuckin hole"....3am weeknights work best
