The trick to minimize the blurriness is to have a good camera. I know I can make posters that big, actually bigger (did one for my company) with my 6 megapixel camera. So from what I have seen, use a camera that is a 5+ megapixel camera and your photo will come out nice. If UB vouches for this guy, no doubt in my mind its worth it.

That's a good idea - I may be in for that if you want an Import in the photo.
