thanks for everybody's support so far. i think the most you can do at this point is SPREAD THE WORD. we want to be out in full force to support this cause.

to be honest with you, i don't even know the NAMES of any of those that were injured this weekend. but thats NOT THE POINT. the point is that those 5 people who were injured this weekend could of been ANY one of US. they weren't doing anything wrong but hanging out on a saturday night with their friends who have similar interests. that's the connection we have with them. this is a COMMUNITY we have built here, so let's have our community out together this coming saturday.

WAVY TV 10 has been great about keeping in contact with me, and they seem more than willing to work with us on this.

any other shops who are interested in raffling off products, making flyers, or any of the like, please PM me. Jeff, LSPinoy, and chris you all have a PM!

 

Iridium V will be there not sure how many of us, i can only speak for myself at this point...

and also just to let everybody know, Total Kaos is having a carwash out in churchland at east coast leizure on western branch blvd from 10am to 5pm saturday. the proceeds are going to the victims as well. sung i definatley like your idea as well and i hope that the two events(at least) will bring in a substantial amounts of money for these people. at this point every little bit will help and i hope that everybody will consider coming out to the carwash as well.

i think everyone knows, but it should be clear upon arriving at the parking lot: NO BULLSHIT. that means-

-no revving
-no burnouts
-no stupid ass horns that sound like whistles
-no screaming and yelling like a banshee for no good reason
-we're here for more than just chillin and talking about cars. we're here for the support of people involved in an unfortunate mistake, and should act accordingly. there are going to be cameras out there, and nothing would hurt us more than some dumbasses messing it up as things are being said/filmed. keeping that in mind, lets go out there and be true to ourselves, the reasons we're out there, and why we do what we do.

:edit: i also think it would be a good idea, if no one gets smart and tries to have alcohol on premises. i think we all agree on that.

 

sung or eng or someone internetally inclined. could someone make a quick webpage or internet flier (or print out flier) to help spread the word. it'd be much easier to spread the word through other forums and such if there was somehting to direct them too. other than this thread because its not very too the point. i just thought it'd be an easy way to get the word out and get people to come out.
