Pontiac Grand Prix any INFO?

I just bought a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix SE with 183,000 miles on it, the car was maintained very well and oil changed every 3k. and it had a lot of work done by pontiac b4 i bought it. Does anyone know how long these engines last?

3.1 or 3.8? Not as long as youd like im sure. But just like every other motor, if its taken care of, it will last.

The 3.8 is a VERY reliable motor, not sure about the 3.1
