places to do bimmer research?
I've been getting really interested in getting a e36 328i sedan recently, and I want to do some research before I really start looking for one. I wanna see if there's anything I should be aware of before getting one, and how they are mechanically after 100k miles. I've driven plenty of 3 series, but they've all been e46s, so I don't know much about the e36, but the style appeals to me, and I want a sedan. I looked at bimmerforums.com, but didn't really find what I was looking for. Anyone here know of some places to do research?
The inline sixes in the E36's are really hard to kill. The big thing is to change the waterpump every 60k and you'll be good to go. The achilles heal for all BMWs is the cooling systems, so see what the previous owner has done to keep it going. But other things are ball joints and misc interior parts breaking.

From the plastic impellars to the sagging gloveboxes it's all there.
