They ended up tearing a hole an intercooler coupler and did not realize what had messed up until after the show was over. They knew something was wrong with the car but could not pin point what it was because it was a tear in the coupler and so it didnt stick out.

The civic is a SOHC with a stock sleeved block. They made one pass at a track with it where the actually timed it and it ran an 11.2 @ 130 with a 1.79 60' It is making between 450-460whp. Here is the dyno graph

Most people immediately wonder why the single cam. The selection of the parts on this car were expended as advertising dollars in the event that this car were lost due to the rules and regulations of the television show. This engine setup may seem a bit mild at first, however the power production surely takes the words right out of your mouth. This is one bad ass pink car.
