i just texted my cousin, he went
my guess would be between 10 and 10.5's
edit: my guess was correct..cousin said it was 10 to 10.5 class

Well your cousin was wrong, they picked an 11 sec class after they won a shootout vs. a 10 sec class. He had 2 groups of 32 face off to see who had the tighter field after the 2 classes got down to 16.

The finals was between a black and gold early 90's late 80's firebird and a blue late 70's camaro I wanna say. Not quite sure on the years. It took them 3 races. I would have like to see a faster field obviously, but it was still a good day of racing considering the track temp was at 150 degrees. Thats probably why the slower class prevailed.
