Default Opinions on the Lotus Elise

Considering purchasing a 2006 Lotus Elise this weekend; This will keep me settled after I sell the vette in a couple of weeks. I don't really know much about them aside from they look hot, and I really want one. I think it's a bit more classy than a viper, and I like that. I also like that it's more reliable.

I will be keeping it as a weekend car until the end of the year, Next year I will probably seek out a lambo or ferrari...until then, this will do the job.

It's certainly a head turner..
but you see, these are all amateur opinions. So, guys, any real opinions to help suade me to not purchase it...or to confirm my opinion that it's worth the money!?

I'd have sex with it if it was in my driveway. Hope that helps.

If you got the money for the elise, then you can afford the Exige, if you CAN'T afford the Exige, wait until you can.

Elise is awesome but the exige is far superior in about every way imagineable

You’re probably the only person to ever use “Lotus” and “Reliable” in the same sentence.

They're alright but for the money it just seems like a really crude car to drive every day.

how big are you? I got to play around in my friends Elise a bit, both of us aren't the smallest guys in the world, so the fitments for both of us to ride comfortably was a problem, however if it is just a weekend car, then obviously that won't matter.... as for driving, imagine a shifter kart..... street legal fun
